Content Guide
Add Weblink
The weblink content type allows you to share the useful sites you find and categorize them in a meaningful way. Providing a short description helps other users determine which links fit their needs.
Categorizing
Though there are predefined sections you can use to categorize the content you submit, remember that you can also include your own words or “tags”.
Tags enable you to make your content even more specific.
Example: Sports Camp
Possible Tags- grades 7-12, Basketball, Football, 3 weeks
Add Resource
For the purposes of content creation, a resource is defined as a useful program, camp, etc. that has a singular geographical location that plays an important role. You may add a map location and a link to this content type along with a description.
Resource vs. Weblink
If you are trying to determine which content type would be most appropriate, remember two things:
A resource has a place for a corresponding link
A resource should have a singular location that is either the location of the program or a very crucial center.
Add Feed
RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.
This means that if you find a great website with an rss feed, you can submit the link to that feed and updates will automatically be posted on this site!
Sites that have rss feeds typically provide an orange or blue icon to allow access to their feeds. These links are usually on the bottom of the page or provided within page content.
To submit an rss feed, simply copy and paste the link of the feed into the necessary input field in the feed creation form.
