3 week program

Wright State University is pleased to offer an exciting three-week science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) institute for eligible high school juniors and seniors residing in the state of Ohio. This rigorous and intensive residential institute, designed specifically for students interested in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) disciplines, will explore the physical and natural sciences and fields of engineering through a small number of interdisciplinary thematic units: Trigonometry, Metrics, Electricity/Renewable Energy, Engineering Principles, and more.

Since 1979, the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) at Johns Hopkins University has focused on the needs of students with exceptionally high academic abilities. The CTY community includes very bright students from all over the world whose talents place them well ahead of their agemates. These students need special attention: greater academic challenges, interaction with intellectual peers, and teaching strategies designed especially for the gifted.
